Monday Night Football Prediction – Browns vs. Bills

It’s the Cleveland Browns battling the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football this week. Both of these underachieving teams are desperate for a win.
The Cleveland Browns at 3-6 have suffered two home losses after blowing big leads late in the games. The losses have sparked talk from some players that teammates are quitting before the final whistle. The Browns continue to pin their hopes of a turnaround on second-year quarterback Brady Quinn who took over the role of starter two weeks ago.
After winning five of their first six games, the Buffalo Bills have dropped three straight division games. Quarterback Trent Edwards has thrown five interceptions and been sacked nine times in the three losses. Buffalo is hoping to see better play from Edwards and running back Marshawn Lynch for Monday Night Football.
This looks like it could be a close one, but Spencer (8-3), David (6-5), Chase (5-6), and I (4-7) all think that Buffalo will pull out the win in the end.
Will Cleveland use the recent criticism from teammates as motivation to finish strong and win Monday night? Or will Buffalo recapture some of the magic from earlier in the season and get the victory? Take the poll and let us know your prediction.

Looks like you were right Jay. What an exciting game! Glad to see the Browns finish it out with the win.
The Bills need to shake the emotional damage of a four-game losing streak fast. The Chiefs have lost their last four by margins of just 4, 3, 1 and 10 points and have scattered playmakers capable of giving Buffalo matchup problems. Young QB Tyler Thigpen (10 TDs, five INTs) has terrific ball skills but is prone to being sacked. Alas, that’s what the Bills don’t do very well with Aaron Schobel (foot) out. This is no time to hold off on the blitz. BTW, found some cool widgets at statbeast.com. Check it!

How can anybody bet for or against the browns this season? I mean look at what they have been able to do against some really good teams this season. If the browns straighten up their act they could win out, if they dont they could loose out. Try not to beat a dawg when its down.
