Monday Night Football Prediction - Steelers vs. Redskins

The Washington Redskins host the Pittsburgh Steelers for the first time in 20 years on Monday Night Football this week. The Steelers (5-2) and the Redskins (6-2) are both serious playoff contenders and need a win on Monday to stay in the hunt.
Pittsburgh has had no problem defeating AFC teams this season, but it’s the NFC teams that have given them problems. Their two losses came from the NFC East Eagles and Giants. With the help of their number one ranked defense, they are looking to change that trend this week with a win against the Redskins.
Washington will look to the NFL’s leading rusher, Clinton Portis, to continue his outstanding play. The Redskins have lost their last 3 meetings with the Steelers, but home field advantage may give them the edge this season.
Spencer (6-3), David, (4-5), and Chase (3-6) are giving the Steelers the victory this week. I’m (3-6) putting my hopes in Clinton Portis and calling it a Redskins win.
Who do you think will win this AFC vs. NFC battle? Take our poll and let us know.

Hey,
The steelers haven’t allowed a 100 yard rusher yet this season. Clinton Portis should be no problem. If the Steelers defend Ben well tonight the Steelers should pull away with this one. If Pitt stops the run, the linebackers should be able to get pressure on campbell enough to stop him and the redskin offense. That’s my opinon, please comment back.
